From 4th of September to 9 in the city will be organized 7th edition of The Week of Diversity in Florianopolis - SC with different events to attract more attention to LGBT rights and culture.
The opening ceremony will take place on 4. 09 at UBRO Theatre. On Wednesday and Thursday you can participate in debates also at UBRO Theatre; the topics of debates are: Family, with presence of same-sex couple, which have adopted a child, and Gender, where Juliana and Mate Schnider (transsexuals) will share their experience. On Friday at Portugal Square will be cultural fair from 14h to 21h, with cultural presentations, souvenirs' stands and music. Saturday as usually you can participate at Games of Diversity - sport competitions and on Sunday will be organized main event - Parade of Diversity on Beira-mar norte.
